Join us on Tuesday, April 16, for our Monthly Business Luncheon at Silver Lake Country Club, 1325 Graham Rd., in Silver Lake. Networking begins at 11:15 a.m. and the luncheon ends at 1:00 p.m.
Mary-Jane Stanchina, executive director of the Sixth District Educational Compact, serving students of the following districts: Cuyahoga Falls; Hudson; Kent; Stow-Munroe Falls; Tallmadge; and Woodridge, will speak on the topic of Workforce Development. Ms. Stanchina’s talking points include: Aligning Regional and Local Workforce/Economic Development Opportunities with College Tech Prep Initiatives; Showcasing a collaborative model of educational shared services; and Highlights of the Six District Education Compact Successes.
As part of her role, Stanchina develops and oversees a number of linkages with agencies, business/industry and higher education; she also holds leadership roles in state educational associations such as past president of the Ohio Career Technical Administrators Association (OCTA) and the Ohio Association for Comprehensive and Compacts.
Reservations for the luncheon are necessary prior to the deadline on Thursday, April 11. We regret that cancellations after noon Monday, April 15, will not be accepted and no shows will be billed.
