In 1987, then Chamber President, Bruce Redmon, Redmon Funeral Home, started the Chamber’s President’s Club. The donations by our members over the years have been very helpful in supporting a variety of needs for the organization.

In  2013,  the fund  will be designated to support scholarships for high school graduating seniors pursuing a post secondary academic degree or professional certification from a career or business school, technical college, community college, or four-year college/university.  Donations made specifically to this fund of $100 or more, can be made any time during the calendar year and awarded in June to qualifying students of Chamber members or the employees of a Chamber member.

We thank the following 2012  Chamber President’s Club for their contributions: Above and Beyond Heating and Air Conditioning; Advanced Care Endodontics; audio-technica; Brimlow Benefits Agency; BFG Credit Union; Charlie and Jean Call; Fiducial General Business Services; Kilgore & Company, Inc.; Greta Morgan; Margida & Associates, Inc.; Redmon Funeral Home; Wentz Financial Group; and Western Reserve Foot Clinic.

Any Chamber member that would be interested in donating to the President’s Club can do so by contacting the Chamber office for full details. Recognition throughout the year includes: SMFCC Luncheon Meetings; Monthly Chamber Newsletter; SMFCC January Business Awards and Annual Meeting; and the Chamber ads in the Stow Sentry.
