The Presidents Club Scholarship Program
The Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce is fortunate to have a leader in Bruce Redmon, founder of Redmon Funeral Home, who established the Chamber’s President’s Club in 1987. Since 2012, the fund has been designated to support scholarships for the high school graduating seniors of chamber members pursuing a post-secondary academic degree or professional certifications.
Because applicants of member businesses may attend other schools other than the Stow-Munroe Falls School District, the Chamber Board of Directors has moved to award those applicants who attend the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District through a collaboration with the Stow-Munroe Falls Schools Foundation at their annual Scholarship Night. Other applicants will be awarded directly where appropriate within their home school districts.
Beginning with the Class of 2023, this collaboration will streamline the process for the Chamber and make our scholarships available to more SMF graduating seniors of chamber members through the SMF School Foundation website. Our criteria will remain the same but all applicants will be vetted by the SMF School Foundation Scholarship Committee to make sure they meet our criteria. The Chamber will then choose the winners. Those graduating seniors from neighboring schools who have a connection to our chamber may still apply through the chamber website. Our goal is to award up to $5000 in scholarships in 2023 and to grow this fund for the future.

As part of the chambers efforts to support our businesses and as an on-going chamber workforce development initiative, your business has the opportunity to support at a variety of levels.
$100 – logo on email signatures only and in the annual report to members
$250 – logo on email signatures, all events (digitally where possible) and in the annual report to members
$500 – logo on email signatures, all events (digitally where possible), on the chamber social media platforms, monthly newsletter and in the annual report to members.
$1000 – email signatures, all events (digitally where possible) and on the chamber social media platforms, monthly newsletter including a short video of you on why your business supports this worthwhile program and in the annual report to members.
