Shannon served active duty in the United States Coast Guard for over seven years. Upon her honorable discharge, Shannon obtained her BSBA from Robert Morris University and her MBA from NorthCentral University. As a Northeast Ohio native, she is extremely familiar with the local community and is excited to be back in the area after time away in the military. She is a recent graduate of Leadership Akron's Signature Program, Class 40. 

Shannon is extremely honored to serve on the Board of Directors at Stow Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce. She is committed to impacting the local region through the volunteer work on the board. A local chamber of commerce plays a pivotal role in driving positive change within the community by fostering economic growth, advocating for local businesses and facilitating collaborative partnerships. By uniting businesses, government and community leaders, it serves as a catalyst for innovation and sustainable progress, ensuring a thriving local economy. 

Shannon's personal interests include her family, running and baking. She enjoys giving back to the community, which she lives and works, through volunteer work and Board service.
